2:45Parent Progress Review (Live)
Live one-to-one lesson example.
Kalamullah's Tajweed course takes students from the Makharij and Sifat of every letter through the rules of Noon and Meem Sakinah, Ghunnah, Madd, Qalqalah, and Tafkheem, straight to fluent, accurate recitation of the Quran with correct Waqf and Ibtida.
The course is built for students of all ages who can read the Quran but want to recite it the way it was revealed.
Every lesson is taught live and one-on-one by an expert Kalamullah teacher holding Ijazah in the Hafs narration, so students learn Quran with Tajweed at home under qualified guidance. Students progress rule by rule, applying each one in live recitation before moving to the next.
6–9Kalamullah's Tajweed course covers the Makharij al-Huroof and Sifat al-Huroof, the rules of Noon Sakinah and Tanween including Izhar, Idgham, Iqlab, and Ikhfa, the rules of Meem Sakinah, Ghunnah, the types and lengths of Madd, Qalqalah, Tafkheem and Tarqeeq, the rules of Lam and Ra, and Waqf and Ibtida, all applied in live recitation from the Mushaf in the Hafs 'an 'Asim narration.
This course is designed for children and adults who have completed Noorani Qaida or Quran reading and recite from the Mushaf, but have never studied Tajweed rules in a structured way.
Students who already know some rules have their recitation assessed first, so the teacher corrects existing mistakes before building the rules they still need.
Every lesson follows the same pattern: your teacher recites the rule first, listens as you apply it, corrects each error the moment it happens, and closes with ayat to practice before the next session.
Every teacher assigned to Kalamullah's Tajweed course is a native Arabic speaker holding an Ijazah in Quran recitation. Credentials are verified before assignment, so every letter and rule is modeled correctly from the first session.
A letter pronounced from the wrong point is wrong in every word it appears in. Kalamullah's teachers begin with Makharij and Sifat, correcting each letter until it is produced accurately before rules are layered on top.
Every Tajweed lesson at Kalamullah is private, so students learn Quran with Tajweed at home while the teacher hears every word they recite. Mistakes are corrected the moment they occur, before they become habit.
Kalamullah provides qualified female Tajweed teachers for students who prefer or require a same-gender teacher. The preference is selected at registration and honored from the trial session onward, with no change to scheduling or lesson content.
Kalamullah's Tajweed curriculum moves from Makharij to Noon and Meem rules, Madd, and Waqf in a fixed order. No rule is skipped, and the teacher confirms each one is applied consistently before the student advances.

Book a free trialEach module builds directly on the previous one, giving students a clear path from correct letter pronunciation to fluent recitation with full Tajweed.
The course opens with the student reciting a short passage from the Mushaf. The teacher assesses Makharij, vowel accuracy, fluency, and any Tajweed rules already applied.
Students who already know some rules move faster through early modules, while their existing mistakes are corrected before new rules are introduced.
Students learn the articulation point of every letter and the characteristics that distinguish similar sounds, such as heavy and light letters. Each letter is practiced in isolation and within Quranic words.
By the end of this module, students produce every letter from its correct Makhraj with its proper Sifat.
The teacher introduces Izhar, Idgham, Iqlab, and Ikhfa, the rules of Meem Sakinah, and the correct length of Ghunnah. Each rule is identified and applied in ayat from Juz Amma.
Every rule is monitored across several sessions before it is marked as consolidated, preventing confusion between similar rules.
Students study the types of Madd and their lengths, Qalqalah, Tafkheem and Tarqeeq, and the rules of Lam and Ra. Each is applied in continuous recitation of longer passages.
The teacher checks the correct length and quality of every rule, so recitation becomes consistent across unfamiliar ayat.
The final module covers Waqf symbols, where to stop and where to begin, and brings every rule together in fluent recitation of complete Surahs.
At the close of this module, students recite with full Tajweed and have the foundation needed for Kalamullah's Hifz or Qirat courses.
Every outcome below is something the student can demonstrate to their Kalamullah teacher by the end of the Tajweed course, not simply a topic that was covered during sessions.
Students pronounce every Arabic letter from its correct articulation point with its proper characteristics.
This is assessed in live recitation, including letters with similar sounds.
Students apply Izhar, Idgham, Iqlab, Ikhfa, and the Meem Sakinah rules correctly.
They do so consistently in ayat they have not practiced in advance.
Students hold Ghunnah and every type of Madd for its correct length.
The teacher verifies each length in continuous recitation.
Students apply Qalqalah and the heavy and light pronunciation of letters, including Lam and Ra, correctly.
They switch between heavy and light letters naturally within words.
Students recognize Waqf symbols and stop and resume recitation in the correct places.
They avoid stops that change or break the meaning of the ayah.
Students recite complete Surahs fluently with every rule applied together.
This fluent recitation is the measurable endpoint of the Tajweed course at Kalamullah.
