BeginnerAqeedah (Islamic Creed) Course
Understand recurring Quranic vocabulary and sentence patterns.
View courseWelcome. Saying the Shahadah is the beginning of a journey, not the end of a decision, and the first months can bring as many questions as they bring joy. How do I pray? What do I tell my family? What is truly required of me now, and what can come later?
Kalamullah's Islamic studies for new Muslims answers these questions in the right order, with a patient teacher who walks beside you one step at a time.
6–9The course covers the Islamic teachings for new Muslims in order of priority: the meaning of the Shahadah and Tawheed, the pillars of Iman, Ghusl, Wudu, and Salah step by step, preparing for a first Ramadan, halal food and daily practice, relationships with non-Muslim family, Islam at work and in public life, finding a local community, an introduction to the life of the Prophet ﷺ, and what the Quran is and how to begin reading it.
This course is designed for new Muslims of any background, whether they took the Shahadah recently or some time ago without structured learning.
Islamic education for converts needs more than information; it needs order, patience, and answers to situations born Muslims rarely face. Kalamullah builds all three into every lesson.
Every teacher assigned to this course has formal study in Islamic sciences and experience guiding converts. Credentials are verified before assignment.
New Muslims are often given long lists of rules at once. Kalamullah teaches the obligations first, Salah above all, and introduces other practices gradually as the student becomes comfortable.
Every lesson is private, so new Muslims can ask about anything, from family worries to past habits, without embarrassment. Every answer is gentle, clear, and supported by evidence.
Kalamullah provides qualified female teachers for sisters who prefer or require a same-gender teacher. The preference is selected at registration and honored throughout the course.
Learning Islam for new converts also means living it at home, at work, and in the community. Kalamullah's teachers help students plan practical steps for each part of their lives.

The course opens with a relaxed conversation about the student's journey, current practice, questions, and situation at home and work.
The teacher uses this to set a gentle pace and to plan which practical topics to bring forward.
Students learn the meaning of the Shahadah, Tawheed, and the pillars of Iman, each explained simply with its evidence.
By the end of this stage, students can explain the core of their new faith with confidence.
The teacher teaches Ghusl, Wudu, and Salah step by step, with the student practicing live, then prepares the student for fasting in Ramadan.
Students also learn the meaning of Zakah and Hajj as pillars they will meet later in their journey.
Students learn about halal food and daily practice, maintaining good relations with non-Muslim family, practicing Islam at work, and finding a supportive community.
Each topic is applied to the student's own situation, with practical steps they can take.
The final stage introduces the life of the Prophet ﷺ and explains what the Quran is, how it was revealed, and how to begin reading or listening to it.
At the close of this stage, students have a firm foundation and can continue into Kalamullah’s Quran Reading Course for New Muslims or full Islamic Studies Course.
Every outcome below is something the student can demonstrate to their Kalamullah teacher by the end of the course, not simply a topic that was covered during sessions.
