BeginnerQuranic Arabic Course for Adults
Understand recurring Quranic vocabulary and sentence patterns.
View courseKalamullah's Quranic Arabic course takes students from high-frequency Quranic vocabulary and Arabic roots through Sarf, Nahw, and I'rab, straight to understanding the ayat directly from the Mushaf without relying on translation.
The course is built for students who can already read the Quran and want to understand the language Allah revealed it in.
Every lesson is taught live, one-on-one, and in English by a qualified Kalamullah teacher, with levels running from first vocabulary to advanced grammatical analysis. Students progress level by level, applying every rule to real Quranic text from the first session.
6–9Kalamullah's Quranic Arabic online classes cover high-frequency Quranic vocabulary, the root-and-pattern system, verb forms and derived nouns in Sarf, sentence structure and I'rab in Nahw, and the particles that shape meaning in the ayat, before moving to independent analysis and translation of full passages from the Mushaf.
This course is designed for students who have completed Quran reading and recite from the Mushaf, but still depend on translation to understand what they read. Built as an online Quranic Arabic course for all levels, it places each student at the right stage, from first roots through to the advanced level of full I’rab and Balaghah.
Each rule is introduced through a familiar ayah, then you find it yourself in new passages, and every session closes with ayat to analyze before the next lesson.
Every teacher assigned to Kalamullah's Quranic Arabic course is a native Arabic speaker with formal study in Nahw, Sarf, and Quranic sciences. Credentials are verified before assignment, so every rule is explained accurately and applied correctly to the ayat.
Kalamullah's quran arabic lessons use the Mushaf as the main textbook. Students learn a root, a pattern, or a grammar rule, then find and analyze it in the ayat they already recite in Salah, connecting language directly to meaning.
Every Quranic Arabic lesson at Kalamullah is private, so the teacher adjusts the pace to the student's level. Questions about a word, a verb form, or a sentence structure are answered immediately, before confusion builds into the next lesson.
Kalamullah provides qualified female Quranic Arabic teachers for students who prefer or require a same-gender teacher. The preference is selected at registration and honored from the trial session onward, with no change to scheduling or lesson content.
Kalamullah's Quranic Arabic online curriculum moves from vocabulary and roots to Sarf, Nahw, and advanced analysis in a fixed order. No level is skipped, and the teacher confirms each stage is applied correctly, not simply covered, before the student advances.

Book a free trialEach module builds directly on the previous one, giving students a clear path from first Quranic words to understanding complete ayat directly in Arabic.
The course opens with a short assessment of the student's Quran reading, existing vocabulary, and any previous grammar study. The teacher uses this to place the student at the beginner, intermediate, or advanced level.
Students who already know basic grammar move directly to later modules, while complete beginners start with vocabulary and roots without skipping any essential foundation.
Students learn the words that appear most often in the Quran, starting with those recited daily in Al-Fatihah and Juz Amma. Each word is linked to its three-letter root, so one root unlocks a family of related words.
By the end of this module, students recognize a growing share of the words in familiar Surahs without looking at a translation.
The teacher introduces the main verb patterns (awzan) and the past, present and command forms of the verb, along with derived nouns such as the active and passive participle. Each pattern is identified directly in Quranic ayat.
Students learn to recognize the pattern of an unfamiliar word and work out its basic meaning from its root, a skill that transforms how they read the Mushaf.
Students study nominal and verbal sentences, subject and predicate, prepositions, and the case endings that show each word's role. Every rule is practiced on real ayat rather than invented examples.
The teacher reviews each rule across multiple passages before introducing the next, so grammar becomes a tool for understanding, not a list of memorized terms.
The final module brings every skill together. Students perform full I'rab of complete ayat, study selected points of Balaghah, and translate passages directly from the Mushaf with their teacher.
At the close of this module, students read the Quran with direct understanding of its language, and the foundation needed to continue into Tafseer or advanced Arabic studies at Kalamullah.
Every outcome below is something the student can demonstrate to their Kalamullah teacher by the end of the Quranic Arabic course, not simply a topic that was covered during sessions.
Students identify and translate the most frequent Quranic words on sight when reading from the Mushaf.
This is assessed in live reading of Surahs the student has not studied word by word in advance.
Students identify the three-letter root of a Quranic word and connect it to related words from the same root.
They use the root to work out the general meaning of words they have not studied before.
Students recognize the verb pattern and tense of a word as it appears in an ayah.
They identify active and passive participles and explain how the pattern affects the word's meaning.
Students distinguish nominal from verbal sentences and identify subject, predicate, and object in Quranic text.
They explain how word order and particles shape the meaning of the sentence.
Students give the grammatical role and case ending of each word in a complete ayah.
They justify each case ending with the rule that requires it, verified by the teacher in live analysis.
Students translate selected passages directly from the Mushaf using vocabulary, Sarf, and Nahw together.
This direct translation is the measurable endpoint of the Quranic Arabic course at Kalamullah.
