Kalamullah's Arabic for Non-Arabic Speakers course takes students from the Arabic script and its sounds through everyday vocabulary and essential grammar, straight to reading, writing, and holding real conversations in Modern Standard Arabic. The course is built for learners whose first language is not Arabic, including Arabic for English speakers starting from zero.
6–9Kalamullah's course to learn Arabic for non Arabic speakers covers the Arabic script and the sounds English speakers find hardest, everyday vocabulary and essential phrases, greetings and introductions, the core grammar needed to build sentences, verb conjugation in the past and present, and practical listening, reading, and writing, before moving to guided conversation in Modern Standard Arabic.
This course is designed for complete beginners and foreign learners with no Arabic background, so no prerequisite level is required.
Kalamullah builds its Arabic course around the real difficulties foreign learners face: new sounds, a new script, and grammar that works differently from English. Your teacher explains each point in simple English, then moves you straight into speaking Arabic, and closes every session with a short practice task.
Every teacher assigned to this course has formal study in Arabic and experience teaching foreign learners. Credentials are verified before assignment, so pronunciation and usage are modeled correctly from the first session.
Letters such as ʿAyn (ع), Ḥaa (ح), Qaaf (ق), and the heavy consonants have no English equivalent.. Kalamullah's teachers explain exactly how each is produced and practice it until the student pronounces it clearly and naturally.
Every lesson at Kalamullah is private, so the teacher adjusts pace, topics, and difficulty to the student. Errors in pronunciation, grammar, or word choice are corrected in the moment, before they become habit.
Kalamullah provides qualified female Arabic teachers for students who prefer or require a same-gender teacher. The preference is selected at registration and honored from the trial session onward, with no change to scheduling or lesson content.
Kalamullah's curriculum for learning Arabic for non Arabic speakers moves from script to vocabulary, grammar, and conversation in a fixed order. No step is skipped, and the teacher confirms each one is applied correctly before the student advances.

Book a free trialEach module builds directly on the previous one, giving foreign learners a clear path from their first Arabic letter to holding a real conversation.
The course opens with a short check of what the student already knows and a conversation about their goals, whether daily communication, travel, work, or Islamic studies.
Complete beginners start with the script, while students who already read Arabic move directly to vocabulary and conversation.
Students learn the letters, their shapes, the vowel marks, and how letters join, with special focus on the sounds that do not exist in English. Reading and writing are practiced together from the start.
By the end of this module, students read and write simple voweled words and pronounce the difficult letters clearly.
The teacher introduces vocabulary and phrases for greetings, introductions, family, work, food, directions, and common Islamic expressions. Each phrase is practiced in short role-play conversations.
Students begin using Arabic in real situations early, building confidence alongside vocabulary.
Students study the grammar needed to communicate: gender and number, pronouns, nominal and verbal sentences, adjective agreement, and past and present verbs. Every rule is explained in English and practiced in spoken and written sentences.
The teacher reviews each rule in conversation before moving on, so grammar supports speaking rather than slowing it down.
The final module brings every skill together. Students hold guided conversations, listen to short spoken Arabic, and read and write short texts on familiar topics, with the lesson conducted mostly in Arabic.
At the close of this module, students communicate in everyday Arabic and have the foundation needed for Kalamullah's Arabic Language or Quranic Arabic courses.
Every outcome below is something the student can demonstrate to their Kalamullah teacher by the end of the course, not simply a topic that was covered during sessions.

This is assessed in live reading and writing with text the student has not practiced in advance.
