A Teacher Shaped by the Classical Tradition
Asmaa Ali El-Sayed Hassan Manaa graduated from Al-Azhar University with a Bachelor's Degree in Islamic Law, and went on to complete an Educational Diploma — a qualification in teaching itself, not only in the subject.
She has been teaching since August 2019, working with Arab and non-Arab students alike. Beginners usually start with Noor Al-Bayan, building letters and sounds into fluent reading before Tajweed rules are introduced.
Her lessons cover Quran recitation and memorization, Tajweed and Islamic Studies, with the pace and the language of explanation adjusted to the student in front of her.

Three habits that shape every lesson she gives.
Listen first
Every lesson opens with the student reciting, so the correction lands on the actual mistake instead of a general rule.
Correct clearly
The rule is explained in plain terms, demonstrated out loud, then applied by the student on the spot.
Repeat with purpose
Focused repetition on the one point being fixed, continued until it holds without a reminder.
