About the Teacher

A Teacher Shaped by the Classical Tradition

Asmaa Emad Hamdy graduated from Al-Azhar University and spent four years as a learning difficulties specialist at a major academy, working with children who struggle with conventional teaching.

That work taught her something most Quran teachers never have to learn: how to break a skill into smaller pieces than usual, find which piece a child is actually stuck on, and build back up from there without the student losing confidence.

For the past two years she has taught Quran online to non-Arabic speakers — learners facing an unfamiliar script and unfamiliar sounds at the same time, where patience and a clear sequence matter more than speed.

“A child who is struggling is not slow. He is being taught in a way that does not suit him yet.”

What to Expect

Her Way of Teaching

Three habits that shape every lesson she gives.

Find the real gap

Before correcting anything, she works out which step the student is actually stuck on — often earlier than it first appears.

Break it smaller

The step is split into pieces the student can manage, taught one at a time rather than all at once.

Build confidence back

Focused repetition at a pace the student can keep up with, so progress feels steady instead of discouraging.
