2:45Parent Progress Review (Live)
Live one-to-one lesson example.
Kalamullah's Tajweed course for adults takes students from correcting long-held recitation habits and the Makharij of every letter through the rules of Noon and Meem Sakinah, Ghunnah, Madd, and Qalqalah, straight to reciting Al-Fatihah, the Surahs of Salah, and longer passages with confidence.
The course is built for adults who have read the Quran for years but were never taught Tajweed properly, or who want to finally fix mistakes they know are there.
Every lesson is taught live, privately, and one-on-one by a qualified Kalamullah teacher, around work and family schedules. Students progress at an adult pace, understanding the reason behind every rule they apply.
6–9Kalamullah's online Tajweed classes for adults cover identifying and correcting long-held recitation habits, the Makharij and Sifat of the letters, correct recitation of Al-Fatihah, the rules of Noon Sakinah and Tanween, Meem Sakinah, and Ghunnah, the types and lengths of Madd, Qalqalah, Tafkheem and Tarqeeq, and Waqf and Ibtida, all applied first to the Surahs adults recite in Salah.
This adult Tajweed course is designed for adults who read the Quran from the Mushaf, whether they learned as children or later in life, but have never studied Tajweed in a structured way.
Adult beginners with no previous Tajweed rules are welcome too: they start with the letters and Al-Fatihah before moving to the full set of rules.
Your teacher explains the reason behind each rule, corrects mistakes respectfully and never rushes you. Each session closes with a short, realistic practice task for the week.
Every teacher on this course holds Tajweed certification and has experience teaching adult students. Credentials are verified before assignment, so every letter and rule is modeled correctly and explained clearly.
Mistakes repeated for years are harder to change than new ones. Kalamullah's adult Tajweed training targets each habit directly, correcting it in familiar Surahs until the correct sound replaces the old one.
Every adult lesson at Kalamullah is private, so students can recite, make mistakes, and ask questions comfortably. The teacher explains the reason behind each rule, which helps adults remember and apply it.
Kalamullah provides qualified female Tajweed teachers for sisters who prefer or require a same-gender teacher. The preference is selected at registration and honored from the trial session onward, with no change to scheduling or lesson content.
Kalamullah books adult sessions around work, family, and travel, and reschedules without penalty when genuine conflicts arise. The curriculum follows a fixed order, so progress continues steadily even during busy weeks.

The course opens with the student reciting Al-Fatihah and a short Surah. The teacher identifies each recurring mistake in letters, vowels, and rules and explains it clearly.
This habit map becomes the student's personal plan, so each lesson targets the corrections that matter most.
Students correct the articulation of every letter, with focus on sounds adults most often get wrong, and apply these corrections first to Al-Fatihah.
By the end of this module, students recite Al-Fatihah correctly, improving every prayer they perform.
The teacher introduces Izhar, Idgham, Iqlab, and Ikhfa, the rules of Meem Sakinah, and the correct length of Ghunnah, each applied in the Surahs the student recites in Salah.
Every rule is checked across several sessions before the next is introduced, so old habits do not return.
Students study the types and lengths of Madd, Qalqalah, and heavy and light letters, including Lam and Ra, applying each in longer passages.
The teacher verifies each rule in continuous recitation until it is applied naturally.
The final module covers where to stop and where to begin, and brings every rule together in recitation of complete Surahs beyond those used in Salah.
At the close of this module, adults recite with correct Tajweed and confidence, with the foundation to continue into Kalamullah's Hifz or Qirat courses.
Every outcome below is something the adult student can demonstrate to their Kalamullah teacher by the end of the Tajweed course for adults, not simply a topic that was covered during sessions.
Students recite Al-Fatihah with every letter and rule correct.
This is assessed in live recitation at the start and end of the course.
Students recite without the recurring mistakes identified in their first assessment.
The teacher confirms each habit has been corrected consistently.
Students pronounce every letter from its correct articulation point.
They distinguish letters with similar sounds clearly.
Students apply Izhar, Idgham, Iqlab, Ikhfa, the Meem Sakinah rules, and Ghunnah correctly.

The teacher verifies each in continuous recitation.
