2:45Parent Progress Review (Live)
Live one-to-one lesson example.
Kalamullah’s Sunni online Quran classes connect you with qualified teachers for live, one-to-one lessons from home. Every lesson follows the recitation of Hafs ʿan ʿAsim, and meanings are explained through the classical works of Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama’ah, so you can learn with complete confidence in what you are being taught.
6–9This course is for students who can already recognise the Arabic letters and read simple words. It takes them into correct, confident recitation of the Mushaf. You will perfect your reading in the narration of Hafs 'an 'Asim, apply the rules of Tajweed as the scholars recorded them, and memorize selected surahs for your daily prayers. Alongside this, you will learn the meanings of what you recite through trusted Sunni tafsir.
The course suits Muslim families who want their children taught by teachers whose creed and methodology they can trust. It also suits adults who want to understand the Quran within the framework of the Quran and Sunnah as taught by the scholars of Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama’ah. Every student is taught privately, one-to-one, so the pace, the portions, and the focus of each lesson are shaped around their level and their goals.
When you learn the Quran, who you learn from matters as much as what you learn. Kalamullah’s tutors studied Arabic and the Quranic sciences in the Sunni tradition, many of them at Al-Azhar University. Each is carefully selected for sound knowledge, clear recitation, and years of experience teaching non-Arabic speakers.
Your tutor teaches the Quran within the creed and methodology of Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama’ah, so parents can trust every explanation their child hears.
Because lessons are private, the teacher listens to every word you recite. They correct pronunciation, elongation and stopping immediately, before mistakes turn into habits.
Short explanations from classical tafsir help you understand what you are reciting. That makes your prayers and your daily reading more focused and more meaningful.
Sisters and young girls can learn with a female teacher, and brothers with a male teacher. Every family can learn in the way it is most comfortable with.
Your progress is tested at every stage, and completing the final recitation assessment earns a Kalamullah certificate.

Book a free trialThe course moves through five stages that build correct recitation, memorization, and understanding, each with a clear goal your teacher checks before you move on.
In a free first lesson, your teacher listens to you read Hafs ʿan ʿAsim and notes your strengths and gaps in letters, fluency, and Tajweed. You leave knowing your starting stage and what a real lesson feels like.
This stage strengthens your reading of the Mushaf until you can recite connected verses smoothly and accurately. Your teacher shares the page on screen and follows every word as you read.
Mistakes in letters, vowels and stopping points are corrected straight away. You repeat each verse until it is recited the way it has been transmitted.
These include Noon and Meem Sakinah, the types of Madd, and heavy and light letters.
Each rule is explained with a simple example and then practiced directly in real verses.
You memorize selected surahs, usually starting with Juz' 'Amma, for use in your daily prayers. Your teacher checks each portion before you add the next.
Alongside memorization, your teacher explains the meanings of the surahs you learn using trusted Sunni tafsir. You come to understand the message behind the words you recite. [Confirm the memorization plan with the academy]
Everything you have learned is revised regularly, and short tests make sure each portion and rule stays secure. Parents receive updates on progress throughout.
When you complete the course and pass the final assessment, you receive your Kalamullah certificate. Your teacher then guides you towards the next step in your learning.
Every outcome below is checked live in your final assessment, with the portions and depth of Tafseer depending on your level and pace.
You can open the Mushaf at any page and recite it smoothly and correctly in the narration of Hafs 'an 'Asim.
During your final assessment, your teacher can choose a page at random and you will recite it without hesitation.
You can apply the rules of noon and meem sakinah, madd, and heavy and light letters naturally while reciting.
When your teacher asks, you can name the rule behind a word and explain why you recited it that way.
You can recite every surah in your study plan from memory, with correct Tajweed and without mistakes.
These surahs stay secure through regular revision, so you can recite them confidently in your salah.
You can give a short explanation of the main message of each surah you have memorized, based on classical Sunni tafsir.
This understanding brings more focus and khushu' to your prayers and your daily reading.
You can recite a full memorized surah from start to finish without your teacher stepping in, correcting any slip yourself.
Your teacher confirms this in the final assessment.
You can pause at appropriate stopping points and resume without breaking the meaning of the ayah.
Your teacher checks this in continuous recitation of longer passages.
