2:45Parent Progress Review (Live)
Live one-to-one lesson example.
For more than fourteen centuries, the Quran has been preserved in two ways: written in the Mushaf, and carried word for word in the hearts of its Huffaz, each one checked by a teacher who was checked before him.
A Quran memorization Ijazah places you within that living line. Kalamullah's Hifz Ijazah course is for Huffaz who have completed their memorization and are ready to prove it: the entire Quran recited from memory, without the Mushaf, before a certified Sheikh who listens to every word.
6–9The course is built around one requirement: reciting the whole Quran from memory, from Al-Fatihah to An-Nas, before a Kalamullah Sheikh who holds an Ijazah with a connected chain. Before that recitation begins, students take a readiness test on random passages, strengthen weak Juz and similar passages, and correct any remaining Tajweed errors.
This program is for Huffaz who have completed memorizing the entire Quran, through Kalamullah's Hifz course or elsewhere, and whose revision is strong enough to recite any Juz on request.
A memorization Ijazah carries weight only when the full recitation is truly heard and truly tested. Kalamullah assigns every student to a Sheikh with a verified chain and never shortens the complete recitation from memory.
Every teacher assigned to Kalamullah's Hifz Ijazah course is a Hafiz holding an Ijazah in Hafs 'an 'Asim with a connected chain. Kalamullah verifies each Ijazah and Sanad before a teacher may certify students.
During the recitation, the Sheikh follows every word and stops the student at any error in memorization or Tajweed. A portion is accepted only when it is recited correctly from memory.
Most Huffaz have Juz that are weaker than others. The readiness test identifies them, and the Sheikh builds a short revision plan to strengthen them before the full recitation starts.
Kalamullah provides female Ijazah-holding Huffaz for sisters who prefer or require a same-gender teacher. The preference is confirmed at registration and honored throughout the program.
Kalamullah does not issue a Quran memorization Ijazah for partial recitation or attendance. The Ijazah is granted only after the full recitation and final assessment are completed at the required standard.

Book a free trialThe program moves through five clear stages, from confirming your Hifz is ready to receiving your Ijazah and Sanad.
The program opens with the Sheikh asking the student to recite passages from memory, chosen at random from across the Quran. Accuracy, fluency, and Tajweed are assessed.
Students who are ready move to the next stage, while those with weak areas receive a focused revision plan first.
The Sheikh works with the student on weaker Juz and on similar passages that are easily confused between Surahs, until they are recited confidently.
Remaining Tajweed errors are also corrected at this stage, so the full recitation begins on solid ground.
The student recites the entire Quran from memory before the Sheikh, portion by portion, from Al-Fatihah to An-Nas. Every word is heard, and any error is corrected before the portion is accepted.
The pace is agreed with the Sheikh, and progress through each Juz is recorded session by session.
After the full recitation, the Sheikh conducts a final assessment, testing random passages from memory and checking Tajweed across the Quran.
The student must meet the standard in both memorization and recitation before the Ijazah is approved.
Students who pass the final assessment receive their Ijazah in the Hafs ʿan ʿAsim narration, recorded as recited from memory, with the documented Sanad connecting them through their Sheikh to the Prophet ﷺ.
Graduates may continue into Kalamullah's Qirat course to study additional narrations.
Every outcome below is something the student demonstrates to their Kalamullah Sheikh before the Ijazah is granted, not simply a stage that was attended.
Students recite random passages from any part of the Quran when asked.
This is confirmed in both the readiness test and the final assessment.
Students complete a full recitation of the Quran from memory before their Sheikh.
Every portion is accepted only after it is recited without error.
Students recite passages with similar wording correctly without mixing them between Surahs.
The Sheikh tests these passages specifically.
Students apply correct Tajweed across the entire recitation from memory.
Their accuracy holds in every Juz, not only in familiar ones.
Students meet the required standard in memorization and recitation in the final assessment.
The Sheikh confirms both before approving the Ijazah.
Students receive their Ijazah in memorization with a documented chain of transmission.
This Ijazah is the measurable endpoint of the course at Kalamullah.

A quick answer to the questions that come up most often before someone books their first trial class — a mix of questions specific to this course and questions about the academy as a whole.
A: You should have completed memorizing the entire Quran with strong revision, and your Tajweed should already be accurate at an advanced level. Students still memorizing are advised to complete Kalamullah’s Hifz course first, and those whose Tajweed needs work are advised to take the Advanced Tajweed Course
If you can recite random passages from any Juz from memory with few errors, you may be ready. The free readiness test confirms this.
Both are an Ijazah in the Hafs ʿan ʿAsim narration, carrying the same connected Sanad. The difference is how the Quran is presented to the Sheikh: for a Hifz Ijazah, the entire Quran is recited from memory, and the Ijazah records this. A Tajweed Ijazah is granted after reciting the whole Quran with correct Tajweed while reading from the Mushaf. A Hifz Ijazah therefore certifies both your memorization and your Tajweed.
It depends on the strength of your Hifz and how much you recite each session. Most students complete the full recitation in [X to Y months]. The exact pace is agreed with your Sheikh after the readiness test.
